ONLINE BOOKING IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR WHALE SHARK WATCHING TOUR: Whale Shark Watching Hours are 6am – 12pm. Tickets may sell out as early as 7-10am depending on the number of guests that day. Guest who wish to have the early start time of 6am-7am can line up as early as 3am, but a 6am start time is not guaranteed. We recommend booking your Whale Shark Watching Tour online to avoid a long wait time. (Please note the earliest online booking time is 7-8am.) Guests are asked to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the booked start time. Online booking can be made 1-2 days in advance of your preferred tour date.

Whale Shark Watching Tour – Swimming/Snorkeling/Boat Viewing: Swimming with our Oslob Whale Sharks will be one of the most memorable things you will do in your lifetime. These beautiful and graceful creatures are one of nature’s wonders. When in Cebu, this tour is one that should not be missed.

Our guide will meet you at our front desk to guide you to the briefing area which is a short 3-minute walk. There you will purchase/register, receive your priority number and attend the orientation on Whale Shark Watching etiquette. Guests will then be guided to a waiting area. When your priority number is called you will be fitted with your life jacket, mask and snorkel. The whale shark interaction is 30 minutes. Time begins once the boat has reached the interaction area. The tour package includes a life vest, mask and snorkel and boat ride to the interaction area. (If your priority number is far off you can return to the resort to have a more comfortable wait.)

Whale Shark Watching Hours are between 6am – 12pm, with the last boat departing between 10am – 11:30am (depending on how many guests are already waiting and how many whale sharks there are on that day). Tour length will vary between 1 hour to 2 hours, sometimes longer, depending on the time of day/season, how many guests are waiting ahead of you and how many whale sharks there are on that given day. We recommend a start time between 6am to 8am, Mon – Thur for the best interaction times.

For guests who prefer a more “private” tour, special trips may be available on Tuesday and Wednesday after 10am when fewer guests are arriving. The availability of special trips depends on the number of guests still waiting. There is no additional cost; however, tips for the boatmen are greatly appreciated.
